A complete set of antique Katana long sword and ornate mountings. Registered as NBTHK preservation item. Very beautiful antique real sword handcrafted in 1686. Inscription of the sword smith, location and production date is engraved on the tang. The blade comes in also an antique ornate mounting in excellent condition. The braid lacing was changed to the modern one because of the very aging. The blade comes in a Shirasaya wooden holder that can be on display with the ornate mounting. You can enjoy switching the blade from wooden holder to ornate mounting, or please request us to set the blade into the ornate mounting before dispatch.

The blade comes with an English Certificate of NBTHK.
