Warlord Yamamoto Kansuke's armorHandcrafted life-size samurai armor modeled after warlord Yamamoto Kansuke's suit of armor. Yamamoto Kansuke was a brave warrior and brilliant strategist, who put his skills to the test in the mid-1500’s, during the height of Japan’s Sengoku Jidai (Warring States Period). He was an invaluable retainer to the famous Daimyo, Takeda Shingen, and was credited with crafting the battle plans that defeated opposing warlord, Uesugi Kenshin, in the fourth Battle of Kawanakajima in 1561. This stunning brand-new suit of armor is handcrafted by skillful artisans from Kagemitsu armory located in Kagoshima prefecture. This suit’s body armor is constructed by hand, using multiple iron pieces, beautiful lacings and elaborately crafted chainmail. This Yoroi armor comes with all parts and accessories listed in the charts below, and can be worn.
