Karuta Tatami Folding Yoroi for Ashigaru or Ninja
The brand new Tatami Yoroi or suit of folding armor finished with small lacquered square iron plates called Karuta connected together by chainmail and sewn to fabric parts of armor. Tatami armor is lightweight, portable, convenient for transportation, and they were manufactured inexpensively mainly for the ashigaru light infantry. However becasue of ligthweigt and portable, Tatami armours were worn by all samurai classes from the highest class to the lowest class, and Ninjas in battlefield. Also some martial art Dojos use this foliding Tatami armor as it is suitable for activities and mobile as well as the functionality.

This complete Karuta Tatami Armour set includes everything you need to gear up in full soldier armor for Dojo practices, productions, photo shooting, LARPing, role-playing, martial art practice, and more… The sets includes Jingasa iron hat, cuirass (front & back chest plates), sleeves, shin guards, Kosode shirt, Red Tattsuke-HAKAMA pants, Tabi socks, Waraji sandals , and White cotton belt.

The whole armor is designed for a person who is approximately 155-185cm tall, with 110cm waist circumference.

Custom Sizing
This amor is designed to fit average Japanese adults up to 185cm tall, with up to 110cm chests. If you need a larger size, we would be happy to offer you our custom sizing option to ensure the perfect fit. A slight fee (up to 25% of the listed price) may be charged, depending on your measurements. It will take 1 to 2 additional weeks to complete a custom sized suit of armor. If you need custom sizing, please contact us to request a Price Quote Request before purchasing. You need to fill your key measurements such as height, chest circumference, waist, head circumference to request a price quote for custom order.

Custom Color Scheme:
We would be happy to provide you with the option of changing the color scheme of the lacquer finishes and/or braid lacings of your Yoroi. If we carry the color you want in our stock, the change is absolutely free.
