A quality old Katana sword from SAMURAI STORE Yokohama sword store. A complete set of antique Katana long sword and ornate mountings. Authentic forged Tamahagane steel blade made by swordsmith KANENORI locayed in Minoh (seki) in late 1500s, Muromachi "Sengoku" Warring States period. Registered as Hozon paper "Preservation Sword" certificate by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). No inscription on the blade but the NBTHK is officially ascribing the blade to KANENORI's work. The stunning Gunome-Midare wavy tempered line pattern on the blade. Way too beautiful tempered line pattern. Comes in a stunning ornate mounting including a beautiful Tsuba guard finished with beaten gold. A Shirasaya wooden holder comes with.
The blade comes with Certificate of NBTHK Japan Sword Preservation Society - Hozon Paper (Well preserved sword)
