Antique Katana sword in Ornate Mounting
Swordsmith: Minoh Senjuin school

A complete set of antique Katana long sword and ornate mountings. Very old antique blade from Muromachi era around 1500, and certified as Miho Senjuin (美濃千手院) that means the blade was made by the smith belonging to Minoh Senjuin group derived from Yamato school that is one of the major 5 reputable smith schools from old times. Registered as Hozon paper "Preservation Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). There is no inscription on tang like most Minoh Senjuin bldes don't have inscription, but NBTHK certified this item as authentic Minoh Senjuin blade. It has their very typical straight (a bit stray) tempered lines. The blade comes in a stunning ornate mounting including all authentic fittings. Also Shirazaya wooden holder comes with.
