A complete set of antique Katana long sword and ornate mounting. Registered as "Special Preservation Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). Very beautiful antique real sword handcrafted in early or mid Edo period (1600-1700's). Inscription of the smith name and his location is engraved on tang. The blade comes in also an antique ornate mounting in excellent condition including a stunning hand guard. The blade comes in a Shirasaya wooden holder that can be on display with the ornate mounting. You can enjoy switching the blade from wooden holder to ornate mounting, or please request us to deliver the blade in ornate mountings set up by us before dispatch.

The blade comes with a Certificate of NBTHK Japan Sword Preservation Society - Tokubetsu Hozon (Special Preservation)
