Antique Katana sword in Ornate Mounting

Swordsmith school: MORIHIRO

Antique Katana long blade made by swordsmith MORIHIRO located in Chkuzen (Fukuoka pref.) in late Muromachi period, 1570's. Inscription of the sword smith name is engraved on the tang. Beautiful straight tempered-line pattern on blade. Registered as Tokubetsu Hozon paper "Well-Preserved Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). The blade comes in a complete ornate mountings including the beautiful Tsuba guard, all authentic fittings.
