Wakizashi sword in Shikomi-zue Cane Mounting
Sword Cane Shikomi-zue
The blade less than 60cm is categorized as WAKIZASHI apart from "Katana". This is very magnificent and beautiful WAKIZASHI medium blade from early Edo period. Originally the blade is guessed to have regular ornate mounting but later another mounting in form of cane called Shikomi-zue was made for the blade. A copy of the authority translated to English by the vendor comes with.
