Antique Katana sword in Ornate Mounting

NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon certificated (Extremely Well Preserved certificate)
Swordsmith: KANEMOTO
A quality and very old Katana sword from SAMURAI STORE Yokohama sword store. Antique Katana long blade made by the swordsmith KANEMOTO in Muromachi era, 1590's. Inscription of the sword smith name KANEMOTO is engraved on the tang. Extremely beautiful Togari-Sanbonsugi or "Three cedar leaves" hamon tempered line pattern on blade. Registered as TOKUBETSU Hozon paper "Extremely Well-Preserved Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). The blade comes in a complete antique ornate including a very beautiful handle and Tsuba guard finished with iron and genuine gold. A Shirazaya wooden holder comes with.
