Antique Katana sword in Ornate Mounting
Swordsmith: KANEYASU

A complete set of antique Katana long sword and ornate mountings. Very beautiful actual old sword from the middle of the Edo era in 1700s. The blade was made by the smith KANEYASU. Recorded as Tokubetsu Kicho Hozon paper "Very Significant Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). There is no inscription on the tang, but NBTHK has certified this article as an authentic blade created by KANEYASU, situated in the Sagami pref. The blade comes in a complete ornate mountings including the awesome openwork Tsuba guard designed with dragon. In addition to the NBTHK certificate, a copy of the authorisation translated into English by the provider is included.
