A complete set of antique Katana long sword and ornate mounting. The blade was made by the smith NOBUHIDE who was given a title of "Chikuzen-No-Kami" in Keio period 1st year (1865). Inscriptions engraved both sides of the tang. His title and name are on the front side, and the completion date of the blade is on another side. Registered as Tokubetsu-Hozon paper "Special Preservation Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society). The blade has excellent straight tempered line-pattern. The blade comes in also very beautiful antique ornate mounting in excellent condition. Wooden sword holder Shirasaya that has beautiful hand Japanese calligraphy comes with.

The blade comes with a Certificate of NBTHK Japan Sword Preservation Society - Tokubetsu Hozon Tohken (Special Preservation)
