Swordsmith school: KANETSUNE

Antique Katana long blade made by swordsmith KANETSUNE in Eisho period, Muromachi era, 1500s. This quality item is offered from SAMURAI STORE Yokohama sword gallery. No inscription on tang but certified and registered as Tokubetsu (special) Kicho paper "Very Important Sword" by NBTHK (Japan Sword Preservation Society) that is given to the well-preserved sword with artistic value. The tempered line pattern is Suguha straight. It has very rare Koshi-hi (half grooves) on the blade. The blade comes in a complete ornate mountings including the beautiful ironTsuba guard.

The blade comes with Certificate of NBTHK Japan Sword Preservation Society - Tokubetsu Kicho Paper (Special Importnat sword)
